I found this in the newspaper a few weeks ago and thought you would all enjoy it.
"Statistics show that men are spending a whopping 10 more minutes a day doing household chores than they were 10 years ago. Women still prepare the meals, but men now put the little soap pellet into the dishwasher. Women still do the laundry, but today's work-sharing man is rolling his own socks. Women sill help the kids with their homework, but men are now sharpening the pencils. Women still drive the kids to soccer practice, men go for pizza if the kids' team wins. Hopefully in the future, men will assume a bigger share of the housework. Like shoveling the snow when hell freezes over."

Although Trav is really good at helping me out...I definitely can relate to the sock rolling deal. When it comes to laundry, it's the only thing I can get him to do.
I'm really lucky! Waylon stays away from the laundry doing, but most always he puts it away. He mops floors and cleans bathrooms! I have to give all the credit to his dad and the mission! Mom, I think Dad got ripped off in the mission as far as the cleaning thing goes!!! A dollar a week for a clean house, clean clothes and meals! PLEASE who really gets how hard that is for a dollar a week, unless your the one making the dollar.
What I want to know is what all these women are doing with their ten extra minutes! It does make me laugh when Cars wants to do the laundry- the putting the clothes into the washer and then into the dryer part, the folding however is usually left to the laundry fairy. The garbage does need to be taken out- maybe there is a garbage fairy for that one too.
